About CARMA
NanoVectors

Bridging academic excellence and industrial innovation
through advanced nanotechnology

" The easiest way to succeed is to copy nature! "

CARMA NanoVectors Srl is a spin-off company of the University of Salerno, originating from the Department of Medicine, Surgery and Dentistry. Our mission is to bridge academic excellence and industrial innovation by developing next-generation nanovector technologies for biomedical, pharmaceutical, and precision medicine applications.
Our Nanosystem Platform unlike conventional lipid or polymer nanoparticles, which rely predominantly on synthetic materials, CARMA nanovectors bioinspired nanocarriers integrate functional lipid or membrane proteins derived from carefully selected biological sources into engineered nanocarriers.

This unique biomimetic architecture offers several key advantages:
Increased payload versatility
Enhanced biocompatibility
Natural cell-mimicking properties
Reduced non-specific interactions
Improved biological targeting
